FAQ's
Where do you source your herbs?
Most of my herbs are sourced from Mountain Rose Herbs and Frontier Co-op, both of which are known for their commitment to quality, sustainability, and organic sourcing whenever possible.
Where are your products made?
All products are handmade in my home kitchen. I operate under a cottage food license and hold a food handler safety certificate. Every product is crafted in a clean, safe, and hygienic environment using properly sanitized equipment and gloves when necessary.
Are you a clinical herbalist?
No. While I have completed various trainings in herbal formulation and medicine making, I am not a licensed clinical herbalist. I do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Please consult with a qualified healthcare practitioner before using herbal products, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, or taking medications.
What are the suggested dosages for tinctures and teas?
These are general guidelines. Dosage may vary depending on age, body composition, sensitivity, and individual needs. It’s always best to start with a lower dose and adjust as needed.
Tinctures:
2–4 mL (approximately 1–3 dropperfuls) in a small amount of water, up to 1–3 times daily.
Teas:
1–2 teaspoons of dried herb per cup (8 oz) of hot water. Steep for 10–20 minutes and enjoy 1–3 cups per day.
What is the shelf life of your products?
All products should be stored in a cool, dark, and dry place for optimal freshness and longevity.
- Dry herbal teas: Best used within 6–12 months for peak potency
- Tinctures: 1–3 years
- Herbal honeys: 1–2+ years (honey is naturally very shelf-stable)
- Herbal oils: 1–2 years
How long is shipping?
I ship products within 3-5 days after an order has been placed. Please allow 1-2 weeks for product delivery.
